About this policy
This policy describes Stillray 1.0.0, a still-life photography planning app. It covers the Android app and this accompanying website. Effective September 14, 2026.
What you create
You can save session titles, recipe choices, light direction, phone angle, backdrop choices, planned shots, completion marks, observations and next-change notes. Avoid putting sensitive information into free-text notes.
Where your work lives
Your session records and preferences are saved in the app’s private storage on your Android device. The app does not send them to a developer server. Other people who can unlock your device may be able to read your work in the app.
Photos and your camera
Stillray supplies illustrative reference images and a setup diagram. It does not open or control your camera, capture photographs, import your photo library or edit images. Take your photographs separately with a camera app of your choice.
App permissions
Stillray requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo-library or Internet permission. It does not require access to your files outside its private app storage.
Network behavior
The Android core, reference images and policy are bundled with the app. The app has no network connection code or external browsing feature. Using a separate camera app or other service is subject to that app’s own behavior.
Accounts and identity
There is no Stillray sign-in, user account or identity profile. The app does not ask you to provide a name, email address or phone number.
Analytics and advertising
The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK and does not send usage events or crash reports to us. Android or the app store may independently process diagnostic information under their own settings and policies.
Sharing and sales
Stillray has no upload, social sharing, synchronization or export function. We do not receive the session content through this app and do not sell that content.
Retention
Your session records remain in local app storage until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Archiving a session keeps it locally and hides it from the active desk; it does not erase the record.
Your controls
You can edit session details, change notes, remove planned shots and archive or restore sessions. Use Android Settings to clear Stillray storage when you want to erase all local records. Clearing storage cannot be undone within Stillray.
Backup and recovery
Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for this app’s records. There is no Stillray cloud recovery. Keep any information you want to retain elsewhere before clearing app storage or uninstalling.
Device security
The app uses Android private app storage and does not add a separate password or encryption layer. Protect your device and its screen lock. No local storage method can guarantee protection on a compromised device.
Audience
Stillray is a general hobby photography tool and is not designed specifically for children. It does not offer social contact or ask for age information. A device owner can remove local records through Android Settings.
Reference artwork
Bundled reference artwork was created with generative tools for this app and reviewed as compositional inspiration. It is not a record of a user’s photograph or an actual session, and it does not prove a lighting result. Session observations are written by you.
Website visits
This website includes no analytics scripts, advertising, forms, third-party fonts or tracking cookies. If published, the hosting provider may receive ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details. The site’s light demo runs locally and does not save your input.
Changes to this policy
A later release may update this policy when features or data practices change. The effective date will identify the revision. Review the policy supplied with your installed version.
Contact and local requests
No public support email or website has been verified for this private build. The organization name supplied for the project is 2SMOOVE INC.; it is not proof of official-app authorization. Use the distribution channel through which you received Stillray for publisher questions. Editing and clearing local records do not require a remote request.
